Dr. Katie Ridenour

Dr. Katie Ridenour comes to us from the great state of Iowa 😊. She grew up on a dairy farm in rural Northeast Iowa. Katie’s love of animals of all shapes and sizes began at a very early age. Her parents probably didn’t appreciate the variety of animals she wanted (and got) as a kid, but it sparked her passion to pursue veterinary medicine. Katie is a 2018 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to the Evansville area right after graduation and has been with Evansville Veterinary Service since then. Katie enjoys working with both large and small animals. She enjoys the variety and the challenge of seeing multiple species. She even dabbles in a little bit of chicken medicine!

Katie resides just outside of Evansville with her husband Blake, daughter Ariella, and three spoiled (and freeloading) chickens. In her free time, Katie enjoys gardening, kayaking, reading, hiking and spending time with family and friends.
