FAQ

Are you still open during the COVID-19 pandemic?

We are still open for appointments with important modifications to our protocols. Please go to the following page to learn about the modifications: https://www.evansvillevets.com/evansville-veterinary-service-covid-19-response-policy/

Are you accepting new clients?

Due to high demand for service and limited veterinarian staffing, we have at times stopped accepting new companion animal clients. New pets of established clients will be scheduled normally. For the most current status, please call the clinic at 608-882-5330. We appreciate your understanding and while want to help as many pets and people as we can, we also prioritize patient care and sometimes this means turning away prospective clients. We are actively working to increase staffing to accommodate more pets!

What are your hours?

Clinic hours are: 7:30am-5:00pm Monday – Friday and 7:30am-12:00pm Saturdays. Occasionally, we are closed on Saturdays due to veterinarian availability. We strive to announce Saturday closures a few weeks in advance on our Facebook page and on Google.

Do you offer emergency service?

We do our very best to provide daytime emergency care to established clients (see clinic hours above.) After hours, small animal emergencies are referred to local ER clinics in Madison and Janesville (see home page for contact info.) At times, daytime emergencies for established patients may require referral to ER clinics or neighboring practices. This is only done if our current caseload will not allow us to provide optimal care to emergent or sick pets. Emergency service for livestock is available 24/7.
